DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PHARMACIST
Prepare,Dispense and label drugs as per Pharmacy Standard Operation Procedures.
Provide instructions and educate the patient upon issuing the Medications.
Check status of the stocks in pharmacy,wards, units and reorder medicines periodically.
Perform regular check of expiry date of medicines and replace as per pharmacy standards.
Ensure proper storage of medications as per the guidelines of the manufacturer.
Ensure all forms of medications like tablets,syrups,inhalers,injections etc ,reaches the patient in the correct form and dosage.
Maintain quality in all activities and strictly follow pharmacy and hospital policies and procedures.
Always maintain patient confidentiality .
Participate various trainings and patient education activities.
