The LPN functions as part of the inter disciplinary treatment team.The assigned duties and responsibilities includes specialised nursing activities like drawing blood ,collecting specimen,records and report results performs standard EKG using multi channel EKG machine.The LPN responds to emergencies on the the units and helps maintain safety.

Basic requirements :

US citizenship
Graduation in Lpn programs from a recognised school of practical nursing by NLNAC.
English language proficiency.
Possess a current active LPN registration.
Minimum two years LPN work experience.
Mental health experience preferred.
IV certification preferred.

CHEST PAIN AND NITROGLYCERINE PILLS

When a patient gets anginal pain, he should stop all his activities and sit down or lie down. Put nitroglycerine pill under the tongue,let it dissolve completely. Hold the saliva in mouth for 1 to 3 minutes for quick absorption of the drug. Once this pain in chest relieved, spit out the saliva.
